Phil is head of teacher training at Fairley House School, teaching future dyslexia assessors and specialists. He taught in London schools for over 25 years as an Inclusion Manager and SENCO and is Safeguarding trained. Phil has a practising certificate from PATOSS (The Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties) and an OCR Level 7 Diploma in Teaching and Assessing Learners with Dyslexia/Specific Learning Difficulties from Fairley House School. His assessments have the same validity as an assessment by an Educational Psychologist. He has completed a large number of assessments including assessments for universities, private individual clients (adults and children) and workplace assessments. Work as a tutor is highly individualised and focussed on developing metacognition, self-confidence and seeing oneself as an active learner.
